Your son is lucky to have you. <br />I know to many parents that just accept this type of behavior, from both the boys and the girls, as nothing more than kids being kids. One of my worst fears for my daughters is that they start to accept this type of objectification as being normal. Once they do that I'm afraid they really do begin to lose what truly makes them unique and special.<br />Thanks again for taking the time to read my blog post. How much it touched me, but also to tell you it gave me real words to say to my 14 yr old son- I know it was written for your daughters, but to hear it from a male perspective, and to be able to let another young male know what is exactly going on in our society regarding events such as this is something I can't thank you enough for.
